Kolburne is seeking energetic, caring and compassionate individuals for the following positions:
Milieu Instructors – Looking for energetic, caring and compassionate individuals to help our students develop the life and social skills necessary to rejoin their communities. Milieu Instructors are responsible for the supervision, care and safety of our students throughout various areas of our program. Duties will include life skills and social skills training (activities of daily living), participating in recreational activities, being a positive role model and crisis interventions. Day Shift, Evening Shift, and Awake Night positions are available.
Assistant Teacher – Provides direct support to the Teacher of Children with Special Needs in providing academic and life skills instruction and plans, and implements programs and activities. May assist and supervise students with activities of daily living and personal care, recreational activities and helping students learn successful methods of interacting with other people. This is a 12-month, part-time position (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelors degree.
Registered Nurses – Part-time and full time positions available for both first and second shift. Responsible for dispensing medications and handling general health related issues with our student population. Candidates must be willing to work with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Massachusetts license is required. Experience in residential treatment is helpful.
